This forum is sometimes referred to by members here, so given my needs as a Gifted Genius were becoming unhelpful here, I shifted there to at least broaden my outlook.
That community is actually two groups, precocious-prodigy and adult Giver-Gifted, the former being somewhat abusively defined by the American education system for children scoring highly on intellect and other similar criteria, but whose skills are at best inchoate, and who tend to crash on takeoff when they reach the end of that protected environment. The latter are those doing magia, in Arthur C Clarke's definition of sufficiently advanced technology, in the sense of knowing how to do things NTs can't. We tend to suffer from Imposter syndrome as a result of being accused of Mitty Syndrome, a form of Cassandra Syndrome when nobody around can believe their eyes. This was rooted in the Edwardian Spiritualist fakery, something I'm as keen as the late Randi to expose.
There is an interest in learning more about how it works, but no skin in the game - I've several times suggested others add their viewpoints, to no avail. When Google's AI became a pest, trolling the site, it turned on me warning against protest, so I left on the spot. AI attempts to emulate neurotypicality, lacking the wit to develop vision, and must be considered a serious threat.
