Is it possible to get an essential companion for a day, or roughly 3-6 hours?
My Adult Social Services Care Package is unfortunately still in the process, so I will not be able to get a PA in time for a scheduled event booked in advance. I'd be requiring support to, from, and at the event.
I tried looking at Task Rabbit, but couldn't find anything for my area. Are there any alternative platforms or solutions available?
I do hate when plans do not come together, even with how much in advance I try to plan and estimate things, but I am trying to make it work. That said, I fear I might have just bitten off more than I can chew by booking this event. I'm trying to engage more actively in my interests and not be so isolated, but I am afraid I can not attend this event otherwise without support, especially as it is a large-scale event.
