Anyone Like Quizzes?

While we're in lockdown a lot of us are finding ourselves with not much to do so me and my wife have started playing The Virtual Pub Quiz on YouTube. It's run by a guy called Jay and he does live quizzes every Thursday and Saturday, as well as various mini-quizes through the rest of the week that tend to be around specific subjects. We're not very good at it but we play every live one anyway! :ROFLMAO:

Just thought it's worth sharing if someone could do with a distraction or something to do. Just search YouTube for Virtual Pub Quiz and it should be the first one that comes up with a pop art-style red and yellow "Virtual Pub Quiz" logo.

I love pub quizzes, but I don't like watching videos on a computer. That's what TVs are for! Yes, I know: it's just a bit of autistic awkwardness; there's no good reason for my antipathy toward computers. [Unless it's that I spent my working lifetime designing, building and programming computers? šŸ˜‰]

Lol fair point. We've got a smart telly so we watch it on there through YouTube. If not you could always hook a laptop up to the telly with a HDMI if it's got one. That's what I do when I watch the wrestling.

Might I also suggest NAQT practice questions? I spent a large part of my educational years participating in academic team competitions, pub quizzes for students essentially, and I find them to be as much fun as pub quizzes without having to deal with a video, as I don’t like watching questions on a screen. And they also tend to lean heavily into current or former special interests so I am more than a bit biased about NAQT.

I love quizes but I'm so bad at them!! My working memory is awful, I'm one of those people who will be like 'I know this one!.. Now hang on what's it called... it's on the tip of my tongue... šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø

Hi abi-crow. My recall for random factoids learnt years ago is great. I can’t remember how to make tea, the location of my bag or which days I have lab without prompting though.
