Hello
Following on from conversations about Emotional Intelligence I thought this free online session (linked below) might be of interest to those interested in mindfulness.
I teach mindfulness (MBCT) and over the years it has connected me back to a sense of myself and my body..it has helped me develop understanding and compassion towards recognizing my needs and supporting them and an overall sense of autonomy. I am not a Buddhist but very aware of the roots of secular mindfulness.
Sharing this session as Cheetah House has done much work around safety in mindfulness. Previous sessions on autistic people and mindfulness research have been affirmative and supportive. One of the facilitators, is UK based Kelly Birtwell who is doing great work in the area of affirmative support for autistic people in her research.
