They told me not to read too much too soon, I ignored them :-) Highlights: *The Autistic Brain* - Temple Grandin - Heavily science based, I felt like I was a neurosurgeon afterwards. She is a pioneer in the field and autistic herself. *Autism in adults* - Dr Luke Beardon - Good intro book. Covers research, coping, skills and testimony. He was the Dr in the Chris Packham BBC doc. *Embracing late adult Autism* - Susanna Kingston - I gave this to my parents its a management summary, with skills, coping strategies and its written well. *The complete guide to Asperger's syndrome* - Tony Attwood - Not read it yet but was on the reading list given to me from assessors. *Neurotribes* - Steve Silberman - I love this I've not been able to put it down. Its big. Focus on legacy, how to think smarter about people who think different. *Unmasking autism* - Dr Devon price - It was a good book but It didn't grab me. Lots of good bits independently, It just didn't grab me all the way through. *Thinking persons guide to Autism* - It was too anecdote and essay based I couldn't get into it (maybe I should have read the cover first). *Very late diagnosis of Asperger's syndrome* Philip Wylie - This book changed my life, that's a bit dramatic I've read it twice already, just so relatable. *An adult with an Autism diagnosis* - Gillian Drew - I liked this one. It was following his journey but it was told in an extremely relatable way. There's a few others but I cant find them ... hope that's helpful. Joey.
