Suicide prevention
We are running a Mental Health Speakers Series – a series of webinars on topics important for autistic well-being and mental health.
Our first topic is rarely spoken about but is relevant to autistic people, 66% of us based on research.
10th of September is the World Suicide Awareness Day. At this occasion we asked the leading charity, Grassroots Suicide Prevention, to talk about prevention. In the masterclass they will talk about:
- How to spot suicide risk
- How to respond safely
- How to talk to the person
- How to make a safety plan
Please watch this one hour long video to learn how to deal with this difficult topic.
