This lesson aims to introduce and explore ways to develop mentoring tools for your mentoring practice.

The video from Susy were developed for employment, but they still remain relevant, so please listen to them making abstraction from the employment context. It is also important to recognise that employment would have an influence on mentee’s welbeing.

Assignment 9

Please reflect and make a mind map of factors that could affect mentee’s wellbeing.

Consider home and work environment, family, friends, employment, personal circumstances, other factors.

Use different colour pencils for different types of factors.

Mentees may want to disclose their disabilities. Natigating disclosure is a minefield and we will cover this later in the programme,
