Put simply neurodiversity provides a competitive advantage in innovation and adaptability to the changing world and reduces risk. Neurodiversity encompasses neurological differences such as Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADHD and Autism Spectrum Conditions. It’s main tenet is that neurological diversity is an internal part of the diversity of human talent and should be protected and promoted. Neurodivergent people have brains that are wired differently and as the result they literally think differently, approach issues from a different perspective and with different emphasis resulting in innovative, creative solutions to complex problem, understanding of hidden trends and patterns that lead to new and improved processes, products and services.

20% of the workforce are estimated to be neurodivergent. 3% of people are autistic but in certain industries it is much higher. Whatever your business you are likely to come across neurodivergent employees and customers.

Neurodivergent people have valuable strengths and skills in innovation, creativity and problem solving, are reliable and highly productive with the right support.
