Earlier we asked to rank in order of importance five areas where services for autistic adults are under-developed. They were:
  • Transforming the attitudes to autism in society, autism acceptance
  • Helping to manage transitions
  • Employment
  • Relationships
  • Mental health and wellbeing
Now we want to explore other priorities, beyond these five, in terms of impact on autistic quality of life and the gap in meeting the needs.
Please choose five from the following list

  • Building a positive autism identity
  • Supporting positive identity, self-esteem and wellbeing via SEN support since the childhood
  • Changing attitudes of employers
  • Changing managerial practices in workplaces
  • Developing effective psychotherapy for autistic people
  • Developing mentoring support for transitions between life stages
  • Having a sense of autistic community
  • Having meaningful genuine circle of friends
  • Autistic -led spaces
  • Quality social care
