Hello, new here, just made an account for a little advice. Might stick around if it's useful. Anyway, I find this weird to ask because I was diagnosed with ADHD & Asperger's Disorder as a kid and have a lot of friends on the spectrum, so I always figured I knew it all about how to communicate with neurodiverse individuals. But about a year ago I made an acquaintance who seems to be neurodivergent in some way and sometimes seems to have a difficult time understanding humor and sarcasm. Truthfully I almost thought that was a myth, I'm mortally irony pilled and have a pitch black sense of humor and most of my friends love it, including the neurodivergent ones. But that combined with the fact that this individual seems to have pretty bad anxiety means things can get.... interesting lol. So, anyone here with a similar profile have any advice for communicating with someone like that?
